Equine Sharing Program, Inc.’s mission is to provide funding for children and adults with physical, mental, emotional and learning disabilities to obtain equine assisted therapy and rehabilitation.
Healing with Horses
Therapeutic riding can positively benefit people with paralysis, autism, cerebral palsy, blindness, deafness, developmental delays, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, head injury, learning disabilities, spinal bifida, amputation and those who have experienced emotional or physical trauma. The horse facilitates the motion of the human stride giving students improved joint mobility, better balance and coordination. Without conscious effort, riders are treated to a proven therapy that is both fun and rewarding while gaining confidence and setting new goals.
